Chalet Shalimar is a wonderful summer chalet in Zermatt with a swimming pool and impressive Matterhorn views. It covers 866m² and has 10 bedrooms, accommodating up to 20 guests in total, perfect for large group holidays in the Alps in summer.

Chalet Shalimar is made up of two apartments. Therefore, a generous amount of living space is found across the floors within this property. On the top floor, the open-plan living areas have traditional alpine designs, with high vaulted ceilings and smooth wooden elements. The rooms have been completed with cosy furniture and an attractive stone fireplace. A large window-wall provides beautiful forest scenery and a perfect viewpoint of the iconic Matterhorn peak. A dining area fit to host all 20 guests is a possibility in case all guests want to gather round and tuck into each hearty homemade meal together. Two fully fitted kitchens offer you plenty of freedom when cooking.

The top floor hosts numerous balconies and terraces, so guests can make the most of Chalet Shalimar's incredible location. Both terraces have outdoor seating and tables, which means guests can enjoy a few social drinks and also dine alfresco style. The perfect summer's evening awaits you.

Within Chalet Shalimar you will find a beautiful swimming pool where you can have a refreshing dip after a long day hiking through the mountains. Some comfy loungers overlook the pool if the adults want to relax whilst the kids make a splash. You may also be tempted to relax and recover in the sauna, hammam and massage room. Chalet Shalimar has everything needed to keep you refreshed throughout your stay.

For further entertainment, two TV lounges are included with Chalet Shalimar. This is a great space for guests to escape the social noise and recharge in front of their favourite film.

The ten bedrooms all share a classic wooden design that creates the desired homely feel each night. All rooms are double bedrooms, but can all be configured as twin rooms to accommodate different groups. All bedrooms benefit from balconies or terrace access, and stunning views, which provides a more enhanced experience before resting up for the night. Each bedroom also has a stylish en-suite for your convenience, which have both a bath and separate shower.

For practicality, there is a boot room for all your equipment, an internal lift and laundry facilities.

For smaller groups, various apartments which make up Chalet Shalimar can be taken on an individual basis, with shared access to the property's spa facilities. Alex can be taken for groups of 12 guests, while the ground floor Elena can be split in two for groups of 4 guests each, please enquire for more information.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 20 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis to include daily housekeeping and mid-week towel change.
