The Property

Ferme St Christophe is a traditional Savoyard farmhouse built at the beginning of the 19th Century. This wonderful property has been lovingly restored to what you see today, a typical property for this stunning area but now featuring the finest home comforts and modern touches. With 8 en-suite bedrooms, this chalet can sleep up to 15 guests in total and would make an ideal base for a large family get together, cycling group or yoga retreat.

As you walk through the large front door, you are welcomed into an impressive entrance hallway with sweeping staircase to the upper floor of the property. Off to one side of the hallway, you will find a large sitting room, complete with extensive library and open fireplace. It's a sophisticated and cosy space with comfy sofas, lots of natural light and oak beams on display. Kids can find an array of favourite board games here.

Across, the hallway, is the light and spacious dining room featuring another fireplace, more south-facing views and a large oak table.

Also, on the ground floor is the Bureau where you can find a quiet spot to read a book or complete some work while away. Separate to the chalet is The Barn, an excellent second entertaining space. There is an expansive lounge on the top floor with double height beamed ceilings, windows on each aspect and a modern fireplace. The lower floor has a great space which is ideal for yoga or Pilates and can comfortably fit 12 people. However, in the summer you may want to take your classes out in the beautiful gardens!

Ferme St Christophe is set in its own grounds with a generous garden and private orchard ideal for soaking up the mountain sunshine and providing an area for children to play. There are multiple alfresco seating spaces and an outside dining area. In the gardens, there is also a separate mazot (traditional outbuilding) which houses a relaxing Swedish sauna for up to 15 people and with views over the lawn. There is also a separate shower and WC in the Mazot for convenience. Back in the garden, a traditional hot tub offers you the perfect place to relax after a long mountain hike.

The chalet has 8 en-suite bedrooms which each offer incredible mountain views, fine linen and luxurious hypoallergenic mattresses. With seven of the bedrooms able to be configured as double or twins, there is a lot of flexibility to accommodate your group's room configurations here. The last bedroom is a fixed king double bed which is ideally suited just for one adult guest. There are 4 bedrooms with access to a south-facing balcony to maximise on the mountain views.

Ferme St Christophe is committed to reducing its impact on the planet and operates in a way to take responsibility for its carbon emissions. The chalet's Eco Status comes from the locally sourced materials used to build and restore the chalet, the smart technology used for controlling energy (including carbon neutral heating, excellent insulation and efficient ventilation).

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on an accommodation only basis. Bed linen and towels as well as end of stay cleaning are charged in addition.
