The Property

Chalet Whymper is a 370m² luxury summer chalet in Megève, situated just outside the resort's centre. Featuring spacious interiors and traditional alpine designs, to perfectly match the rustic wooden exteriors, this delightful property offers six bedrooms and a handful of wellness amenities to be enjoyed by 10 adults and 2 children.

Chalet Whymper's main living area is found on the upper level of the property and has been finished with alpine materials and a neutral colour palette, creating a stylish and yet calming space to relax. With windows on all sides as well as a large glass patio doors, this room feels incredibly light and airy and spacious. The lounge area is divided from a separate dining room by a deep dual-fronted fireplace. The large dining area offering a stylish setting which can be enjoyed for long mealtimes all together, whilst homemade meals can be rustled up in the adjacent, fully-equipped kitchen, that also boasts a neat breakfast bar to further encourage conversation.

From the main living areas, you'll find a nicely private balcony, screened by luscious foliage, where you can be seated enjoying an alfresco coffee or moment in the sunshine. A second balcony leads off from the dining area, giving you a different vantage point looking out across the hillside.

At Chalet Whymper, endless amounts of fun awaits down on the spa level where you'll find a refreshing indoor pool allowing you to cool off on a hot summer's day. Comfy seating by the pool means the adults can rest, whilst supervising children playing in the water. Alternatively, a glass-fronted sauna also overlooks the pool, for further relaxation as the adults watch on. Fitness equipment, also with a view of the pool, will cater to those needing an additional workout.

In total, Chalet Whymper accommodates for up to 12 guests across its six bedrooms. Simple yet effective designs create an elegant alpine feel to each room. The master bedroom takes the top spot when it comes to luxury, the only room found on the chalet's second floor. A dressing room, balcony and freestanding bath helps to bring an easy and memorable stay for your week away. All five remaining bedrooms lie on the ground floor, including a bunk bedroom that's suitable for those family summer holidays in Megève.

A boot room, office space, internal elevator, garage parking and laundry facilities are also all provided at Chalet Whymper.
