Chalet Le Spencer is a wonderful luxury chalet in Châtel for summer, a bright and spacious property that treats you to amazing views and brilliant outdoor spaces. Sleeping up to 14 guests across six bedrooms, the chalet also features some great wellness facilities and sociable living areas.
Chalet Le Spencer is spread between three floors, with the central floor housing its marvellous main living area. The floor above doesn't cover the lounge, granting the area with a tall vaulted ceiling that makes it feel spacious and area. Giant picture windows further increase this sense of space, giving the room plenty of light and showcasing the incredible views that the chalet's position affords it. The furnishings are both comfortable and stylish, with eye-catching electric blue seats around the long dining table. At the far end of this open-plan living and dining area, you will also find a chic, fully-equipped kitchen with a large central island.
Leading off this living area is a sizeable balcony, where alfresco dining with the scenic backdrop of verdant mountain forests awaits. On the level below, Chalet Le Spencer features a generous terrace and sloping garden, containing loungers for sunbathing and the chalet's two lovely wellness facilities. There's little else more magical than relaxing in the soothing bubbles of the hot tub or enjoying a revitalising sauna session, where a panoramic window lets you still enjoy the breathtaking views.
Chalet Le Spencer also has a stylish bar and TV lounge inside. This area is wonderful for entertaining, with recliner chairs positioned in front of the large screen TV and areas for socialising also.
The chalet houses five double bedrooms and one quad bunk room, sleeping up to 14 guests overall. The bedrooms have a mixture of styles, both contemporary and alpine, some with exposed wooden walls and others with a stylish matte finish. The beds are cosy and sumptuous, while the shower rooms feature luxurious walk-in showers. Several rooms also benefit from direct access to the garden, while one has a private balcony.
For practical purposes, Chalet Le Spencer has a boot room for storage and laundry facilities available. Any guests who drive to resort will find it easy to park, with space for up to 6 cars.
For even larger groups of up to 27 guests, Chalet Le Spencer can be taken with its sister chalet two doors down, Chalet Le Whymper.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests and is offered on a self catered basis only.
The chalet is also available on a contactless catered basis with daily breakfast delivery, 6 nights pre-prepared dinners, selected complimentary drinks, and scheduled housekeeping.

Chalet Le Spencer is located in the peaceful Petit Châtel area of the alpine resort of Châtel. Perched in an elevated position, the chalet provides glorious views over the village, valley and mountains.
It takes around 20 minutes walk to get from the chalet to the centre of Châtel, where you will find a good assortment of restaurants, bars and local shops in the charming village centre.
The village centre is also where you will find the Super Châtel gondola, which brings you up the mountain to the border between France and Switzerland. There are some hiking and longer mountain biking routes to be found at the top of this gondola. The trails of Châtel's bike park are accessed via the Pierre-Longue chairlift, which is located 13 minutes drive from the chalet, about a 30-minute cycle away.

When catered, the chalet is offered on what's known as a contactless catered basis. Each morning you will receive a breakfast delivery including pastries and homemade jams. Then, pre-prepared evening meals will be delivered to your chalet on 6 nights of your stay. These will be created off-site in a professional kitchen, using authentic, local ingredients. There are a range of dishes to choose from, allowing you to pre-prepare your menu with what best suits your group's tastes. The meals are delivered right to your door, with simple instructions for heating them up, allowing you the flexibility to eat when you like. The chalet is also stocked with a range of complimentary drinks. For catered stays, there is also regular housekeeping. On request, a private chef can cook for you at the chalet, at an additional cost and subject to availability.
When taken on a self-catered basis, you have the option to add the breakfast and meal delivery services on an ad hoc basis. You can use this service before arrival, or during your stay up to 24 hours in advance, allowing you to enjoy local specialities such as fondue, raclette and Savoyard dishes at your convenience.
The chalets have a concierge service available 24/7, and will endeavour to assist you with whatever request you may have, any time of day. Further specialist services the chalet team can arrange include yoga classes and mountain guides.
