The Property

One of three chalets in the exclusive Hameau des Plan, Chalet Azurite is the largest of the hamlet. Sleeping up to sixteen people across three floors, this is a great chalet for groups of families.

Built to incorporate the contemporary design and rustic twist, Chalet Azurite is the perfect blend of alpine tradition with a subtle modern element. Upon entering the first floor, you attention is drawn to the excellent views across Chamonix and the surrounding peaks. The high vaulted ceilings and large sliding glass doors enhance the spacious feel, yet the wooden surroundings ensure the chalet is kept cosy. The central fireplace is a key element to this space, providing warmth on the chillier spring or autumn evenings. For a better look at the views, head out onto the balcony. Here you will find a selection of seating, perfect for a spot of sunbathing.

Still on the same floor as the living space, is the open plan kitchen and dining area. There is a large wooden table in-keeping with the traditional feel and enough seats for the whole group to sit down together and enjoy a delicious meal. Whilst the designated cook is working away, others can sit at the breakfast bar and admire their great work. The kitchen has all the essentials required for a self-catered stay whilst in Chamonix.

As well as a large balcony, there is also a south-facing terrace to use at your disposal, whether that be for a spot of sunbathing, or evening drinks before dinner. This space is where the outdoor cedar hot tub is located, perfectly positioned to catch the afternoon sun, and and an excellent way to relax after a long day out and about.

In total there are 6 bedrooms, sleeping between 12 and 16 people. The lower ground floor consists of 4 double bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms, and an additional bunk room with space for up to 4 guests. Up on the mezzanine floor there is an extra bedroom with 4 beds and an en-suite shower room. To keep the bedrooms cool, air conditioning has been installed.

Chalet Azurite has a garage and an elevator for access between each of the floors. As well as this, there is a separate TV room, somewhere for the kids to relax.

Chalet Azurite can be taken with Chalet Alaska and Chalet Saphir to create Le Hameau des Plans, with space to sleep up to 41 guests.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 16 guests and is offered on a self catered basis with daily housekeeping.

When fully catered, prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 14 guests and is offered with full gourmet catering, complimentary drinks selection and daily housekeeping. Smaller group discounts apply and additional guests are charged as extra.
