La Ferme des Frasserands is a wonderfully authentic summer chalet in Chamonix, perfect for those looking for a traditional French chalet holiday. Sleeping between 12 and 16 guests, the chalet is found in a peaceful hamlet towards one end of the valley, offering a pleasant garden with outdoor facilities and magnificent panoramic mountain views of the Mont Blanc peaks.

Originally built in 1764, La Ferme des Frasserands exemplifies the classical mountain chalet style. Every feature of the chalet bleeds authenticity, from its massive traditional fireplace to its rustic wood beams and panelling, and the collections of antique artwork and furnishings that fill the rooms. You can't help but fall in love with this luxury chalet in Chamonix. The main living area is spectacular. A monumental central space with double-height ceilings and a giant wall of windows that look out towards breathtaking mountain panoramas. Stylish, modern sofas, a sparkling chandelier and a smart, contemporary kitchen imbue a sense of luxury to the otherwise rustic nature of the enchanting lounge and dining areas. Rounding off the sumptuous space, a snug library, adjacent to the main lounge and fireplace, is perfect for quiet moments at the end of the day.

Balconies lead off the main living area, although the outdoor highlight is undoubtedly the terrace and garden spaces. There are few better ways to enjoy a peaceful summer holiday in Chamonix than relaxing in the picturesque garden, followed by an alfresco BBQ lunch on the quaint terrace. The terrace adjoins to a traditional mazot, in which you will find the chalet's sauna.

La Ferme des Frasserands features eight bedrooms total, offering room for up to 16 guests overall. The rooms are well-appointed, brimming with alpine charm and character, with a wide variety of options for sleeping arrangements. There are four en-suite double bedrooms, in addition to an intimate double bedroom snug with its own shower cubicle. Four single beds can be found in an open dormitory on the chalet's mezzanine level, while there is also a charming children's twin room and another bedroom that doubles as an atelier. This artist's study offers direct access to the garden.

There are boot warmers and cloakroom space in the chalet's entrance level, in addition to laundry facilities. Exterior parking is also available at Les Fermes des Frasserands.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered on a self catered basis with mid-stay housekeeping. Additional guests are welcome with an extra charge of €300 per person.

When fully catered, prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 10 guests and is offered with full gourmet catering, complimentary drinks selection and daily housekeeping. Smaller group discounts apply and additional guests are charged as extra.
